Verve makes the Sunday Times Best Place to Work list... again!

The cat is out of the bag, we can finally shout it from the rooftops – we've been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025. For the second year in a row!

This nationwide award is based entirely on real employee feedback which is what makes it such a special achievement. The Sunday Times partner with employee experience platform WorkL to deliver insights into what makes a Best Place to Work.

The awards process relies on 26 questions developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics, and other independent parties to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.

6 steps to success

In order to be listed, an organisation must score well in a six-step framework...

1. Reward and Recognition

2. Instilling Pride

3. Information Sharing

4. Empowerment

5. Wellbeing

6. Job Satisfaction

…which we did!

Last year, we were recognised for our strengths in wellbeing, higher purpose, flexibility, and instilling pride - and we kept building on those foundations. Using the insights from last year, we were able to shine a light on the things we were doing well and just as importantly, it highlighted where we had room to grow.

Culture eats strategy for breakfast

‘The Verve culture is at the heart of everything we do. As Peter Drucker famously said, ‘culture eats strategy for breakfast’, so being recognised in the Sunday Times Best Place to Work award isn’t just an accolade, for me it’s a reminder that we’re creating a positive environment where our team can thrive alongside the business’ - Cathi Harrison, Founder and CEO at Verve.

For us, this award is a reminder we're going in the right direction - not that we've reached a final destination. We'll continue to build on the foundations already in place and use feedback to continuously improve. Not just for our clients, but for our team too.
