I used to be a 400m runner and ran a time of 50.1 seconds as a 15 year old. I didn't do very well in my GCSE's because I thought school was a waste of time, but I went to New College Durham for 2 years and came back with a BTEC in Business Finance.
I mainly work on admin-only cases and keep on top of new cases coming in. This can include sending emails, calling providers to chase plan information, filling in data gathering spreadsheets, FE analytics and Select a Pension.
When I don't have my nose to the grindstone, I like to go out for food with friends or play Xbox to keep my brain active (when my wife lets me!).
My unique personality trait is the ability to see the best in any situation... not as common these days!
For me the biggest change was being treat like an adult. Feeling like I can just get on with my work without someone watching over my shoulder, but there is always someone there to help when you need it. Don't forget there is always something fun happening (activities, snacks, events).
Don't be scared to ask questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question at Verve.
