You'll always know when I'm in the office... probably hear a few song snippets being hollered! I began my Verve journey as admin staff supporting the paraplanners when we were just Para-Sols. Over the years I've made my way around the business supporting where I can and building my knowledge of the Verve way & of finance as a whole. In more recent years I've focused my knowledge and experience on shaping the next big thing in finance which is Verve's tech offering - Dextera!
I'm Digital Lead and I work closely with the tech team, along with key members across the business. I'm essentially a translator from the world of finance to tech... aiming to produce a brilliant bit of kit, better known as Dextera!
Well, I recently had a gorgeous little boy, Finley... so a lot of my time is spent being Mummy, which I wouldn't change for the world! Aside from that, I enjoy reading when I get 5 mins and getting out for walks with the dogs.
Hmmm... One that often gets laughs around the office is that I am absolutely shocking at remembering sayings! I always get them muddled up, or think they mean something completely different. An example would be when I told someone "many happy returns" when they were leaving the company (fail).
It's chaotic in the best possible way. You're always kept on your toes and it can be a lot sometimes but it's worth it to see all the endless possibilities available for both you and the business.
Don't hesitate to ask questions. No matter what it may be, everyone is always willing to listen & help where needed. So don't suffer in silence :)
